Re: Moode Audio support?

The worry this manipulation, takes the 5.50 go useless you can expand SD card to full size first And we can remove unnecessary space after? you expand the card to full size so the whole can be accessible. So you can use the space to store files or you just leave it empty MoOdeAudio Menu>Configure>S...

Re: Moode Audio support?

Re: Raspdac modded audio software / Solutions audio modées

Hi Rikardo! Ahhh... excellent and MANY thanks as always. ;) I too have some time these coming days to finally give Moode a go. Take care! JCU upload is painfully slow here today. I barely get 200KB/s..grr. So it may take longer than I expected. I going to start working on 3.1 version with scripts n...

Hello David (or anyone), The Moode Audio image with power management and OLED display support download link no longer works, looks like the file has been removed. Could you please reupload the file? Thanks very much! JCU hi m8, Uploading my personal copy as I type. Its an old 2.7 version and should...

I have some free time now so I thought I give it a go. lol, what a waste of time I gave up after two hours of trying, and I am not an linux beginner - sound still not working (RPi2+I-Sabre v3) - DLNA not functional/can not be installed ?!? Re: RaspDAC with Max2Play OS - Get Power Button, Display wor

Hello all, @ rikardo1979 - hey there, long time no see! ;) @ Baldo_Mero - I have a RaspDAC with display & power button just as you do, and have tried RuneAudio and Max2Play on it. I have not tried MoodeAudio as rikardo1979 has, primarily because it appeared to have the same or very similar library ...

Re: RaspDAC with Max2Play OS - Get Power Button, Display wor

Thank you rikardo1979, but this does not seem to answer my question. If I understand it correctly Roon looks very nice but there does not seem to be support for the power+LCD management of RaspDac. In addition, no idea of how the quality would compare with MoodeAudio or RuneAudio. Out of the box, m...

Re: RaspDAC with Max2Play OS - Get Power Button, Display wor

Hi there, I am also using the kit with Runeaudio and I am very happy with the sound quality and performance so far. However, I am also finding the music library management options quite limited, the search functions and playlist creation/management are a little bit of a pain compared with kodi, for...

Re: Need help - RaspDAC Kit DIY Network drive Sabre V3

@zenobiaflex Great stuff and I am pleased that MoodeAudio works well for you. I still do not know how is it possible that it makes so much difference in sound quality compare to other distros. I was redoing my Roberts R747 again software-wise this morning as I have not used it for a while. I thought...

Re: Need help - RaspDAC Kit DIY Network drive Sabre V3

Hooray!!! First, I agree... the powerbrick may be dirty... and I may look for a linear supply, but I wanted to make sure this would at least work first. I can confirm that it now works (hence, my hooray!). Here is what I did to check this: 1) I removed the RPi completely and used a known power supp...

Re: Need help - RaspDAC Kit DIY Network drive Sabre V3

Thank you for the responses! I will open my box and see if I put the hex nuts on incorrectly. I don't think that I did.. Regarding the Power Supply Unit, I am using the PSU that came with the kit from Audiophonics. It is supposed to be 6V output. The only thing I can think of is that the PSU may no...

Re: Need help - RaspDAC Kit DIY Network drive Sabre V3

regarding the power up issue, what is your power supply rating? It seems your voltage is to low to power up this device.
You need 6V PSU not 5V! Reason being that the DAC board taking power too and passing it to RPi which needs stable 5V.

Re: RaspDAC Kit Raspberry Pi 3.0 & DAC Sabre V3

not that easy as OSMC does not use X, web and other things. So there are a lot of things to be modified. If you are not very familiar with code than this can be a hell of a task. I was trying this on XBian long time ago as I work for it but is a same. To much hassle to get this running on those dis...

Hi, sorry to post in English but I never managed to learn French (I tried for a couple of years but not a good student). I have received my RaspDAC kit with DAC V3 and I have been trying to install the scripts for power management and OLED screen, but no success. The problem is that I use OSMC (Kod...
