I purchased this card, http://www.audiophonics.fr/en/diy-dac/a ... 10296.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
I tried to make it work with Volumio 2.0 selecting the hifiberry dac + driver but no sound is heard
I've tried different version of Volumio 2 without results...
Can you help me?
I'm having the same issue. Just received the I-Sabre TCXO today, no sound.
First, i believe the correct setting for the i2c driver is hifiberry DAC, not hifiberry DAC+
Have you tried it with plain hifiberry DAC ?
Next, i've been trying to use it with my RaspberryPi 3. I've contacted support to make sure that the Pi 3 is supported. I reckon it is not specified on the product page, while the I-Sabre V2 and V3 are advertised as working with the Pi3.
I'll let you know once they get back to me.
Karine-Johanne, I thank the answer..
I've tryied from Volumio 1.55 to the last distro but...
Volumio 1.55 dont recognize the DAC and propose only alsa mixer in configuration menù...in other distros, hifiberry dac (not plus) is not listed in dac's menu...
Or something wrong?
My Dac is connected with an rpi2...
I got it working eventually. It is fully working with the Raspi 3 by the way.
It seems there is a known bu within Volumio where the sound output setting reverts itself to jack while still displaying The DAC output.
Most of the time when switching on the system, i don't get any sound and have to manually reset the DAC setting. Then the sound kicks in (really good btw).
I'll try to put of the screenshot of my working settings.
Pour avoir galéré quelques heures avec volumio, je trouve moode bien plus simple à utiliser, la configuration est plus fine, le module spotify connect fonctionne du premier coup... Ultra satisfait.
