RASPDAC MINI Kit DIY Streamer for Raspberry Pi 4 & DAC ES9038Q2M

I hope it’s ok that I post this in English:
I have installed the “RASPDAC MINI Kit DIY Streamer for Raspberry Pi 4 & DAC ES9038Q2M.” I’m using Volumio downloaded from Audiophonics web-site. All seems to work perfectly, but here is no sound. That will say if start a stream of music there is only a (one) small click from the loudspeakers just like if a relay switch on. When I stop the stream I get the same (one) click from the loudspeakers.
Whats wrong?

Maybe something related to the output setting or volume level (have you tried to max it (volume) with the remote ?)

I have tried (almost) everything including flash the SD-card to RoPieee which I'm very familar with. Again everything seems to work perfectly, but there is no sound.

Maybe the DAC is faulty, that's pretty rare but can happen ..;
